01EPIC × NMIS

From Manual Entry to Integrated Worklist

I designed and implemented the EPIC–NMIS integration workflow, enabling patient information to flow directly into the Nuclear Medicine worklist while reducing manual entry and supporting a more efficient clinical workflow.

Automated Patient Import

Reduced manual entry • Fewer demographic errors • Faster workflow

02Hot Lab Workflow

Making Invisible Work Visible

The Hot Lab functions as the heavy-duty operational hub of Nuclear Medicine, coordinating and managing critical activities across all examinations.

I identified that essential Hot Lab work—including patient preparation and dose administration—remained undocumented and unrecognized in staff productivity, then designed dedicated EPIC workflow steps to capture each activity and its duration within the examination.
